Since November last year, we’ve been working through the long dark nights on a brand development and web project for the fine people at The Long Run Venture. TLRV have been tasked by the Technology Strategy Board and UKTI with creating a trade mission to San Francisco that is both FOR and run BY entrepreneurs.
That meant creating an identity that was fresh and sharp, and avoiding the usual red, white and blue extravaganzas that come with government-backed initiatives. We were also able add a few innovative touches to the website involving Twitter, Google Calendars, Vimeo and Flickr.
Twenty of the UK’s best cleantech companies were chosen to attend the mission to San Francisco. And we’re very pleased to say that today twenty returned. A few of them had some very positive things to say about the branding too:
